My life is guided by the Holy Bible and the United States Constitution. Honesty and integrity are the way I conduct my life and the way I treat people. No one is better than anyone else. Therefore, all people will be treated with respect and courtesy.
Local Issues
The Bandera County Republican Party is in disarray. To have a strong Republican Party, we must have strong roots and Bandera County can be those strong roots again. We will bring the Party together by having meetings that will allow input from the community. People are afraid to speak in the meetings, they have been intimidated. That will immediately stop.
Precinct Chairs will be involved in their precincts. They will know their constituents. They will be encouraged to speak up at meetings and be involved in all aspects of the Bandera County Republican Party.
Economic Development
We will reach out to businesses to help us grow the Republican Party. A strong Republican Party is good business for all.
Community Engagement
I have attended many gatherings in Lakehills, Medina, and Bandera. I have met groups of men and women at various places around the county. I have met some of the nicest people in the world and they have mentioned to me that we need a change in the BC Republican Party leadership. We will continue to engage with the community through town hall meetings, public forums, or other ways to gather input.
When I talk to people, many don't realize that we have an election this March. Many do not know that they will be voting for a Republican President to go on the November ballot. If elected, I will change that. Education will be one of my top priorities. How can we get people to show up at the polls, if they don’t know the candidates, issues and that there is an election?
Campaign Promises
I promise to be honest and accountable to the community.
Meetings will be organized and run under Robert's Rules of Order, the Rules of law, and the By-laws will be followed. Everyone will be treated fairly and equally.
The community will be invited to see and hear what is going on. The meetings will be well advertised. I will have guest speakers that can train us and help us grow, share ideas and get people to the polls. I hope to beat the highest record of voter turnout in an election in Bandera County eventually.
Minutes and Treasurer's Reports will be shared at the meetings. The community will have input at the meetings. Precinct Chairs will have a voice at the meetings.
These things will all be positive changes for the party and the community.
Make it stand out
My opponent has spent most of his time in office in Austin on state issues while the RP in Bandera County is dying. It's time to take back the RP in Bandera County. If elected, I will work with community leaders to restore the party. We will keep up with everything that is going on the state and federal levels, but Bandera County will come first, and after Bandera County is restored, we will deal with Austin and Washington.
The community asked me to run for this office, and I will do everything in my power not to disappoint them.
